How is a device different from just recording with an app?
Recording on a phone means unlocking it, opening an app, and keeping it running. Cube asks for one press. Record, continue your day, and come back later: your voice becomes text, insights, and actions.
Do I need a subscription for Cube?
No. The Blocc app is free to use, and every Cube includes 500 minutes of transcription every month. For power users and longer transcriptions, Loopsh+ is available with 1,500 minutes per month.
Is Cube only compatible with iPhones?
Yes, for now. Cube is built for iPhone 12 or later with MagSafe, together with the free Blocc app, and the magnetic ring in the box brings cases along. Android support is coming later.

What is the audio quality like?
Room recordings are captured by two noise-cancelling microphones with advanced voice isolation, so speech comes through clear. Call recordings work differently: VCS records vibrations, so the audio itself may sound distorted at times, while the transcription comes back clear thanks to LLM transcription in our backend.
How long does the battery last?
Depending on usage and sound levels, a single charge lasts for up to 30 hours of recording.
